A pilot was transported to hospital with serious injuries after a fighter jet crashed south of Albuquerque International Sunport in New Mexico on Tuesday, May 28.Footage from the scene shows the wreckage in flames on a hillside.Local outlet KOB4 said Lockheed Martin confirmed that an F-35B fighter jet went down after refueling at Kirtland Air Force Base.The aircraft was traveling from Fort Worth, Texas, to Edwards Air Force Base in California, the outlet said.The outlet said the pilot ejected before impact and was recovering in hospital.
