Dashcam footage recorded the chaotic scene as a runaway Tesla crashed into other cars on the rooftop level of a shopping mall car park before driving off a ledge and landing with a crunch below, local authorities said.The November 30 incident was partially recorded by Kevin Wang’s dashcam, with his footage showing an already-damaged Tesla driving into his vehicle before a loud crash is heard.That sound, according to a NSW Police Force spokesperson who spoke to local media, was the Tesla crashing on a level below after it drive off a ledge.Police said the 59-year-old male driver and 68-year-old female passenger were treated at the scene by paramedics for chest pain, before being taken to hospital for assessment.It was not known whether the crash was caused by driver error, or the car’s automated systems.
