Firefighting crews halted the growth of the destructive Franklin fire in Malibu, California, on Thursday, December 12.Footage filmed on Tuesday, December 10, by Eric Fox shows aerial and ground fire crews extinguishing a damaged home and working on containing the fire one day after the wildfire broke out.“There were hundreds of firefighters,” the source told Storyful.As of Thursday, the fire’s size was holding steady at around 4,000 acres and was 20 percent contained, Cal Fire reported.According to a local news report, at least nine structures were reported destroyed and another six damaged as of Wednesday evening.
