A meteor was seen streaking across the sky above Puerto Rico in the early morning hours on December 6.Frankie Lucena captured this footage from Cabo Rojo and said it shows a Leonis Minorid meteor flashing green in the sky, exploding and leaving a trail of debris visible for several seconds.The Astronomy Society of the Caribbean said it observed several meteors early on December 6, including those the society believed belonged to the Sigma Hydrids, as well as the long-lasting green trail from the Leonis Minorid meteor, which the society said was observed for “almost a minute.” Credit: Frankie Lucena via Storyful
