More than 500 firefighters worked to control a blaze in the basement of an industrial building in Sucre, near Caracas, on Monday, April 29, the Venezuelan vice minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection said.Footage posted by Carlos Perez Ampueda on X shows smoke pouring from the burning building.Ampueda said the fire was 60 percent controlled on Monday afternoon.No deaths or injuries were reported, the National General Directorate of Firefighters said.The cause of the fire was not reported.
