Lake-effect snow turned Erie, Pennsylvania, into a winter wonderland this Thanksgiving, with up to 3 inches falling per hour, according to the National Weather Service.Footage filmed by Luciano Lucas (@_tharealluciano) shows a blanket of snow accumulating on Thursday night and Friday morning.“It’s only getting worse,” Lucas says in the footage. “You guys warned me of this Erie snow.”The National Weather Service said that heavy lake-effect snow bands had produced a total of 3-12 inches of snow by Friday morning, making travel difficult for those returning home after Thanksgiving.
