An unexpected 911 call in Boston led to a heartwarming moment when two police officers sang happy birthday at the caller’s door, bringing him a birthday muffin, on Thursday evening, May 2.The call initially came in as a wellness check, according to WCVB. But soon, the officers had realized it was actually the man’s birthday.“We thought it was a joke,” Bracho told WCVB. “So once we verified it actually was his birthday we said, ‘well, everyone has one birthday so everyone deserves to feel special on their day.’”Bracho and Ortiz said they bought a muffin and candles before heading over to the resident’s home for a special surprise.Boston Police Department released footage from the officers’s body cameras showing them stepping inside, liting a candle and singing ‘happy birthday.’The officers’ actions helped the caller, named by police as Chris, ring in his 25 birthday, police told WCVB.
