Man Arrested After Teddy Bear Explodes in California Parking Lot

San Bernardino police said a suspect was arrested after they reviewed CCTV footage showing a teddy bear exploding in the parking lot of a business.“Patrol officers responded to a 911 call after a business owner was notified by witnesses that a possible explosive device inside a large teddy bear detonated at the front of the business,” police said.Footage released by the San Bernardino Police Department shows the September 14 incident, in which a man is seen placing the teddy bear in the parking lot of a Dollar King. The bear starts to smolder before exploding.Police said they later searched the suspect’s residence and found items including a ghost gun, ammunition, methamphetamine with packaging for sales, illegal fireworks, and metal pipes and saws “consistent with explosive devices”.The suspect was arrested on several charges, they said.
