Mexican Newspaper Offices Targeted in Ride-by Shooting

A Mexican newspaper has condemned a gun attack on its offices on Thursday night, June 13, releasing CCTV video showing the gunman, who was on the back of a motorbike driven by an accomplice.Diario Adiscusion, based in Culiacan, said the shots targeted a sign on the building depicting Humberto Millan Salazar, the founder of the newspaper, who was abducted and killed in 2011.No staff were injured, the paper said. “Adiscusion Diario condemns this aggression and demands from the authorities a prompt clarification of this dismaying and worrying event,” it said.
