Northern lights appeared in parts of the northern United States on Thursday night, October 10, footage shows.Footage captured by Ken Grille shows the colorful northern lights dancing over Plymouth Harbor in Massachusetts.Grille described the event as “an absolutely jaw-dropping, awe-inducing moment.”“Looking up at the sky and seeing that it was bright red and visible to the naked eye. Right here in our hometown. Just stunning,” Grille told Storyful.The National Weather Service said the G4 geomagnetic storm would create potential for aurora viewing in southern New England on Thursday night.A G4 Watch remained in effect for October 11, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Space Weather Prediction Center.
