A therapy dog had a chance to help sniff out evidence in Arapahoe County, Colorado, helping sheriff’s deputies who were investigating a shooting on November 21.According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, investigators were struggling to find shell casings related to a shooting investigation and called on K9 Rex to come lend a nose. According to the sheriff’s office, Rex is school therapy dog who is also trained to sniff out gunpowder and firearms.The sheriff’s office said even though the casings were scattered among rocks in a landscaping bed, Rex was able to find them within minutes.
