The Fort Worth Zoo in Texas is celebrating its second mandrill birth this year, following a dry spell of 29 years.Footage released by the zoo shows baby Jasper, the second infant born to parents Scarlett and JJ this year.Prior to the births of Jasper and older sister Ruby, the most recent mandrill birth at the zoo was in 1995, the Fort Worth Zoo said.Cheeky eight-month-old Ruby can be seen in the footage stealing the spotlight and staring straight into and licking the camera as mom Scarlett holds little Jasper.Baby Jasper weighed around two pounds when he was born on September 13, according to the zoo.The family of four were doing well, according to keepers, with Ruby adjusting to her role as older sister and Jasper already showing signs of wanting to adventure on his own.
