The dashcam on a Kansas Highway Patrol car captured a trooper’s dramatic near miss when a car slid on an icy road and crashed on November 30.Master Trooper Garver was responding to a crash on Interstate 635 with a Kansas City police officer when “he observed a car quickly approaching after losing control on the slick roads.”Garver started to run away and warned the police officer to “watch out.”“The officer put his emergency vehicle in drive and attempted to pull forward to avoid a collision. Unfortunately, both law enforcement vehicles and a citizen’s vehicle were struck,” the highway patrol said.No injuries were reported following the crash.The National Weather Service called on Kansas City residents to “drive cautiously” on November 30 as a fast-moving storm system brought wintry weather to the area.
