Humboldt penguins made a splash at the Milwaukee County Zoo as they returned to a newly renovated habitat, footage released on Wednesday, December 11, shows.Footage released by the Milwaukee County Zoo in Wisconsin shows the Humboldt penguins exiting carriers and waddling into the newly renovated habitat, named “Penguins of the Pacific,” in early December. The penguins can be seen jumping into the water and exploring the enclosure.According to the Milwaukee County Zoo, renovations to the habitat began in March and include a 20,000-gallon increase in the size of their pool, an updated water-filtration system, larger viewing windows, and the removal of a handrail.
