Hurricane Milton remained a Category 5 storm with landfall expected in Florida late on October 9, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said early on Wednesday.Footage released by CSU/CIRA & NOAA shows the storm spinning in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday afternoon Eastern time.The NHC warned of storm surges of 10 feet or greater, devastating hurricane-force winds, and flash and urban flooding upon Milton’s landfall.Evacuation orders were issued for several Florida counties, with multiple airports also suspending flights.
