An
illegal flying boat, made from a hang-glider and inflatable, and carrying two individuals, was intercepted by Spanish authorities in a Canary Islands harbor.According to the
Guardia Civil, a three-metre-long inflatable boat, attached to a motorised hang-glider, was flying at an altitude of 50 to 100 metres at a speed of around 34 mph (55 km/h) southwest of Gran Canaria, between Puerto Rico and Amadores, when it was intercepted.Spanish authorities said the boat was carrying a driver and a passenger, who was a client participating in a leisure activity.
