US President Donald Trump held the first
cabinet meeting of his second term on February 26, where he outlined his administration’s priorities, focusing on government efficiency, trade policy, and environmental regulations.Elon Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative, presented a plan to cut $1 trillion from the federal budget by 2026,
saying “it requires saving $4 billion per day, every day from now through the end of September.”Musk also addressed the “What did you do last week?” email, which was sent to all federal employees.
