Severe storms brought rain and lightning to southeast Texas early Friday morning, May 3, as excessive rainfall threatened flooding across the region.Footage taken by @Sebdo12 shows a close-up lightning strike he witnessed from his home in The Woodlands, an area north of Houston, around 4 am.“Closest strike I’ve witnessed.
