A snowy owl was filmed braving harsh weather as driving winds and powerful waves pounded the St. Joseph lighthouse on the shores of Lake Michigan on Friday, November 22.The footage was captured by Nathan Voytovick, of Nate’s Dronography, who said the stormy conditions indicated that “winter is coming.”A day earlier, local weather officials reported the first measurable snow of the season, with 3.5 inches recorded in Niles, Michigan, about 22 miles from St. Joseph.Chilly lake-effect rain impacted the region through Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
