Crews in Baltimore, Maryland, refloated and removed the cargo ship Dali from the wreckage site of the Francis Scott Key Bridge on Monday, May 20, following a deadly collision in late March.Footage released by the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) shows crews moving the massive vessel using tugboats and other equipment on Monday.In a Tuesday morning statement, the city’s mayor, Brandon Scott, said the ship’s refloating was a “critical step” in fully reopening the channel and restoring full access to the Port of Baltimore.“We will continue to diligently prioritize the needs of those most impacted as we move on the work still left ahead,” he added.The cargo ship’s crew was still aboard the vessel, according to reports.
