Firefighters battled to contain a 400-acre brush fire which burned close to homes in Fontana, on Sunday, June 30.San Bernardino County Fire announced late on Sunday that the blaze was 80% contained and that no structures had been damaged, adding that firefighters will remain at the scene to “reinforce containment lines.”Footage recorded by Brandon Mawhorter shows smoke bellowing from the Jurupa Hills, and a convoy of “backup” fire trucks arriving in the city’s South Park neighborhood.A number of aircrafts were also seen in the area, dropping flame retardants.
