Cold air streaming over the United States’ Great Lakes region brought lake-effect snow to parts of the United States’ northeast, prompting warnings from local authorities.Satellite imagery released by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) shows the cold front pushing wintry weather from Michigan towards New York from November 30 to December 2.A lake-effect snow warning remained in place for central Pennsylvania, including State College, on Monday, December 2, the National Weather Service said.
