The Brazilian Army announced the deployment of boats to aid rescue efforts in the flood-hit Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, among them a type of vessel typically used to manage pontoon bridges.Video released by the state’s southern military command on Friday, May 3, shows the vessel being lowered into the water in the capital city of Porto Alegre.
