Crews contained a wildfire in California’s Butte County on the night of July 4, according to authorities.Aerial footage posted by Cal Fire chief Joe Tyler shows the Lumpkin fire burning on Thursday night. “The threat was quickly extinguished” with helicopter water drops, the fire service wrote on Facebook.As of Friday, July 5, the blaze was 100 percent contained and reached an estimated 10 acres in size, according to Cal Fire.The cause of the fire was under investigation.
