Residents of Kullu in India's Himachal Pradesh region experienced a terrifying moment when their entire apartment block collapsed into the Parvati River in the early hours of August 1. Heavy rains had caused flash flooding in the area, weakening the building's foundations. Fortunately, all of the residents had evacuated and were unharmed.
