Flights at Sicily's Catania International Airport were disrupted on Sunday after Mount Etna spewed lava and shot a plume of ash into the sky. Some flight operations at the airport were temporarily suspended as the huge column of ash reached more than 32,000ft into the sky, obscuring visibility for pilots. Mount Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.
