Bystanders filmed a dramatic rescue in Weifang, China on January 4, after an elderly man fell through the ice on the frozen Bailang River and was heard calling for help. Wang Jianmin, a 58-year-old taxi driver, immediately jumped onto the ice and began breaking it with his bare hands to reach the elderly man, eventually pulling him out of the icy water to safety.
