Thousands of hikers and skiers have been climbing Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy after its February 6 eruption to witness the lava flow down the volcano's snowy inclines. Filmed on February 14 and 17, the volcano has continued to spew lava and ash, disrupting air travel, but is currently no threat to nearby areas. The 2.1-mile-tall Mount Etna is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its last eruption was in July 2024 and lasted 1 month.
