A California man who spent nine nights in the Santa Cruz mountains was found and reunited with his family, images published on Friday, June 21, show.Lukas McClish, a 34-year-old resident of Boulder Creek, was reported missing by his family on June 16, officials
said.He had last been seen on June 11, according to the
Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.According to
local news, he was found on Thursday, June 20, after surviving on water from creeks and wild berries.
KSBW reported that McClish had gone on what was meant to be a three-hour hike, but which turned into nine nights in the wild. “I didn’t bring anything because I thought I was doing a three-hour hike to go to work,” McClish said.“I want a burrito and a taco bowl; that’s what I thought about every day when, after the first five days, I started to kind of realize that I might be in over my head,” McClish told
