A suspect was arrested and charged with arson after a fire erupted on Cape Town’s Table Mountain on Sunday, December 29, according to South African National Parks officials.By Monday afternoon, the fire on the Platteklip Gorge, along the mountain’s front face, had been largely contained after burning 9 hectares (22.2 acres).
