Tsunami alerts in southern Japan were lifted after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake hit off the coast of Kyushu on Monday. The quake struck at a depth of approximately 22 miles and caused two small tsunamis; one measuring 3.2ft on the shores of Miyazaki Prefecture and another, measuring 0.7ft in Kochi Prefecture. One man in Kyushu received minor injuries after falling down stairs during the quake.
