Satellite images captured by Maxar Technologies show large crowds near the tomb of former Iranian general Qasem Soleimani in Kerman, Iran, on January 3 shortly before explosions that Iranian state media said killed more than 100 people.Hundreds were gathering at Kerman Martyrs Cemetery to mark four years since Soleimani was killed by a US drone strike in Baghdad.Maxar said the imagery was collected at 10:21 am local time. The first explosion was reported at 2:50 pm, according to Iran’s Press TV.According to the state-run IRIB news agency, at least 103 people were killed and 211 were injured.Authorities described the incident as a terrorist attack and said two bombings occurred in separate locations, 10 minutes apart.
