A bloodstained armband and other personal items that belonged to a man who served as a stretcher-bearer in the First World War are to be put on sale by a Derbyshire-based auctioneer
on August 7.Images from Hanson’s Auctioneers show a collection of items that were owned by Pte Frank Pye, who was born in 1882 and joined the war in 1914.
