Alabama High School Singers Give Impromptu Rendition of National Anthem at DC's Jefferson Memorial
Members of Alabama’s Hewitt-Trussville High School Husky Band gave a beautiful impromptu rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner during a visit to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington on April 15.“Our marching band was in Washington, DC, to perform in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, and these students are also members of the school chamber choir,” a spokesperson for Hewitt-Trussville High School told Storyful.Other visitors stopped to watch the septet and gave them a rousing round of applause at the finish.
