Rescuers in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, continued to miraculously pull survivors from the rubble of collapsed buildings on Sunday, February 12, six days after a deadly earthquake struck the region, according to officials.Antalya mayor Muhittin Böcek shared video of what he described as a 44-year-old being rescued by the Antalya Fire Brigade 162 hours after the quake struck in Kahramanmaras.“We totally believe in miracles,” Böcek said, according to a translation.Other footage verified by Storyful showed another survivor rescued in Hatay province on the sixth day of rescue efforts.As of Sunday, Turkish disaster management agency AFAD had reported a death toll of 29,605 in Turkey.The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported rescue teams had stopped searching for survivors in northwest Syria and had focused on recovering bodies.
