A family movie night was rudely interrupted by a feisty, and highly poisonous, eastern brown snake, with video showing it was more than a handful for the catcher that was called out.Footage from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers shows handler Brandon Gifford removing the snake, which he described as the “second most venomous in the world”, from a family’s TV room.“Look who’s coming into the movie room, digging out for the night,” Gifford says.“He’s going to make me work for this,” Gifford says as the snake goes behind the TV stand, before lunging at him and wriggling off again.“That is a very dangerous animal, that one,” Gifford says.“I think he just wanted to watch a movie with us,” says the client.“He did; he wanted to just Netflix and chill for the night,” Gifford responds.
