A whale was found dead on the shore in Manasquan, New Jersey, on Monday, February 13, making it the eighth to have died on or near the state’s coast since early December, local news reported.Footage by Instagram user nickvg_ shows the beached humpback whale on the Manasquan inlet, accompanied by the caption “Protect our oceans.” The source said the footage was captured between 5:07 pm and 5:30 pm local time on Monday.According to local media, around 200 people gathered on the Manasquan Inlet beach before police began clearing onlookers from the sand after 4 pm.
