15-year-old Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva will be allowed to compete in the women’s single skating event after the Court of Arbitration for Sport made their decision to allow it. CAS Director General Matthieu Reeb explained that Valieva, being only 15, is a protected person, and is thus not held to the same standard as an adult athlete.
