Las Vegas Sphere To Be Lit Up For Super Bowl Spectacular
Super Bowl LVIII is to be staged in Las Vegas on Sunday and Sin City’s newest landmark, The Sphere, is to be lit up in celebration of American football’s showpiece event. During Super Bowl week the Sphere's fully programmable LED exterior, known as the Exosphere will feature special Super Bowl-related displays and information. From Monday, this will include content such as a countdown clock leading up to kick-off, a welcome visual for the expected crowds and key graphics highlighting the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Sphere will also showcase all 57 Super Bowl rings, allowing fans to pose in front of their team's ring. During the game, the Exosphere will run live, real-time content in response to on-field action. Sphere Studios has also created special Super Bowl LVIII content as part of its ongoing XO/Art program, featuring custom art from legendary street artists displayed on the Exosphere throughout the week. Apart from NFL and Super Bowl content, some of the world's leading brands will have advertisements displayed on the Exosphere during Super Bowl Week. The Exosphere, boasting approximately 1.2 million LED pucks spaced eight inches apart, stands as the largest LED screen on Earth.
