Northern Lights Brighten Sky Over Manitoba Amid Severe Geomagnetic Storm

The Northern Lights shone brightly above the Canadian province of Manitoba in the early hours of Sunday, April 23, as the United States’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) observed severe geomagnetic storms.Timelapse footage by RJ Roldan captured the display from South Indian Lake.The NOAA said the geomagnetic storms were caused by a coronal mass ejection on Friday, rating the severity of the storms at G4.
