Two orangutans from the Perth Zoo in Western Australia were deemed “ape-solutely perfect” after they recently swung into the zoo’s veterinary hospital for a health check.Teliti (13) and Lestari (9) were examined separately under general anesthetic for their overall body condition and dental health.According to the zoo, a dentist who treats humans was brought in to check on Lestari’s teeth, since orangutans are one of our most closely related species.
