A large explosion at a restaurant in Teresina, northeast Brazil, damaged numerous nearby buildings and injured a security guard in the early hours of Wednesday, December 21, local media reported.Video footage captured by Twitter user @cleutony shows scattered debris and plumes of smoke following the explosion.According to local media, a security guard was hospitalized after the blast, and buildings up to four blocks away suffered roof damage and broken windows.The explosion was felt as far as 3.1 miles (5 km) away from the site, globo.com reported.The cause of the blast was under investigation, according to local media.
