The Royal British Legion (RBL) has announced a new, plastic-free poppy for its 2023 Poppy Appeal, an annual event supporting British Armed Forces veterans and their families.The new poppy entirely eliminates the use of plastic and is made from a blend of renewable fibers, the RBL said.The RBL sells poppies every year around Remembrance Day on November 11.The all-paper poppy will be available from October this year.
