A Newfoundland resident was delighted by the sight of a seal scooting along ice outside her home on Monday, February 13, as the region prepared for an incoming winter storm.This video was captured by Twitter user @mama_mercs, who said they recorded it from her home on the Burin Peninsula on Monday morning.“This is my second year living here, and so far I’ve seen seals both winters. Last winter we had anywhere from three to six on the ice at a time,” she told Storyful.According to official weather reports, a winter storm was expected from Monday night to Wednesday morning.
