Parts of east-central California were hit with heavy snow on Tuesday, February 28, which, alongside strong winds, caused power outages in the mountains and foothills.This video showing heavy snow was released by the Tuolumne County Sheriff, who said it was filmed in the Long Barn area.The National Weather Service said some very cold temperatures were expected early Wednesday and Thursday.The service said a blizzard warning was in effect until the early hours of Wednesday and additional snow accumulations of up to four inches were possible.
