A US travel blogger has been documenting her experience in Khartoum, Sudan, since fighting between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and Sudan’s armed forces began on April 15.Footage from Lakshmi Parthasarathy (@lostshmi) shows scenes from the city from April 15 through April 19, including smoke rising from the airport when the conflict began, and the lack of supplies in local stores in recent days.“We woke up to the sound of gunshots,” Parthasarathy is heard saying in one clip.She posted a series of clips to her Instagram, which is devoted to her travels to what she calls “unusual places”.According to the World Health Organization, more than 330 people have died so far in Sudan since the fighting broke out, and a further 3,200 have been injured.
