Evacuations and rescue efforts continued in China’s Hebei province days after Typhoon Doksuri brought widespread floods to the area, Chinese state media
reported on August 3.This footage was published by China Fire, and shows firefighters rescuing a baby using a plastic bowl and a firefighter carrying a person to safety through chest-high water.
CCTV reported that more than 1.2 million people had evacuated within the province since July 27. Of those, over 800,000 were in flood-relief areas where channels were being opened to help drain
flooded areas of Beijing.More than 4,700 rescue teams were dispatched to the province,
