Few people think about alligators’ personal hygiene habits, but the Florida man known as the Gator Crusader is not most people.Footage released on Wednesday, December 4, by Michael Womer, also known as the ‘Gator Crusader’ on YouTube, shows Womer bathing with some of his alligators to prepare for the holiday season, he said.Womer said that with the holidays coming up, he wanted to make sure the gators looked good, “the Florida way.”Womer clarified that the alligators were not his pets nor necessarily tame, but were highly trained.“I do take precautions,” Womer told Storyful. “For instance, I never bathe completely naked around them (well … almost never).”Womer often posts videos about the alligators at his facility in New Port Richey on his YouTube channel, TheGatorCrusader.
