A boxing club and swimming pool that opened in February at a sports complex in Kharkiv, Ukraine, were left heavily damaged by Russian shelling on September 2, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration,
Oleg Synegubov.Synegubov said the facilities were both destroyed.“The Russians destroyed the premises of the Lokomotiv sports complex, named after H Kirpa in Kholodnohirskyi district, with S-300 type missile strikes,” Synegubov said.“This is a world sports arena, where our ‘golden fish’ – champions in synchronized swimming – trained.
