A fast-moving brush fire in Butte County, California, was brought to a stop on Thursday evening, July 11, after threatening homes and prompting evacuation orders in the town of Palermo, according to officials.The Railbridge fire tore through 130 acres after erupting on Thursday afternoon and was 30 percent contained after a response involving more than 145 firefighters and a number of helitankers.This aerial footage shows the fire being held at 128 acres during late afternoon on Thursday, according to officials.On Friday, authorities said they didn’t expect the fire to grow beyond its current containment lines, and said the number of personnel assigned to the blaze had been decreased to 53.
